Oil-immersed transformer is an important power equipment, is one of the main equipment in power plants and substations, in daily use, we should protect oil-immersed transformer, and oil-immersed transformer fire protection is very important. Since the oil-immersed transformer contains transformer oil, the insulation oil will spontaneously ignite when it reaches the ignition point. Therefore, the fire protection of oil-immersed transformer is very important. What are the fire protection measures for oil-immersed transformers?
1. The fire prevention distance between oil-immersed transformer with oil content above 2500kg and oil-filled electrical equipment with oil content between 600kg-2500kg should not be less than 5m.
2. When the fire spacing between two adjacent oil-immersed transformers does not meet the requirements, fire partition or fire partition top fire curtain should be installed. Single - phase oil - immersed transformer can only be set between the fire partition or fire curtain.
3. When the distance between the outer wall of the plant and the outer edge of the oil-immersed transformer outside is less than that specified in the specification table, the outer wall shall be firewalled. The distance between the wall and the outer edge of the transformer should not be less than 0.8m.
4. When the outer wall of the plant is within 5m from the outer edge of the oil-immersed transformer, doors, Windows and holes should not be opened below the horizontal line of adding 3m to the total thickness of the transformer and within the range of adding 3m to the outer edges of both sides; Doors and fixed Windows on the firewalls outside their range shall have a fire resistance limit not less than 0.9h.
5. When the oil content of oil-immersed transformer and other oil-filled electrical equipment is more than 1000Kg, oil storage pit and public oil collecting tank should be set up, and transformer pebbles should be placed for standby fire prevention and oil unloading.
6. Set fixed water spray and other fire extinguishing systems according to the current relevant regulations. Oil-immersed factory transformer should be set in a separate room. The door of the room should be a class b fire door that opens outward and leads to the outside room or corridor. It should not open to other rooms.
