General overhaul of oil-immersed transformer coils

Coil is the main structural component of oil-immersed transformer, and it is also the main part of the overhaul of oil-immersed transformer equipment. Generally, when the oil-immersed transformer equipment is overhauled, the overhaul of coil mainly includes the following:
1, the surface of the coil should be clean without grease, each part of the oil channel unimpeded, no grease, metal debris blocked.
2. The coil has no displacement or deformation, the insulation pads of each part are arranged neatly, the compression screws at the end are suitable for tightening, the back cap is tight, the lower iron bowl of the compression screws is in the right position, and the insulation is good.
3. The insulation of each part of the coil shall be good, and the binding of each lead wire shall be firm and not loose.
4. Check the surface of the coil to identify the insulation aging degree.
First class insulation: the insulation is elastic, fresh in color and golden in color. It is in good condition when pressed by finger without residual deformation.
Secondary insulation: insulation is still elastic, dark yellow, no crack, embrittlement phenomenon when pressing with finger, it is qualified.
Third level insulation: insulation embrittlement, dark brown, with a few cracks and deformation when pressed with fingers, is barely usable.
Level four insulation: extremely has been seriously embrittlement, is black brown, with the finger on time deformation and falling off, visible naked wire, is unqualified state.
5, the local minor mechanical damage insulation, should be repaired, the repair insulation thickness is not less than the thickness of insulation requirements, if the damage is serious, should be rewound or sent to the repair shop.
6. Check the enclosure on the outside of 220KV coil, and there should be no trace of discharge or creepage at the coil position on the inside of the enclosure.
