Inspection and maintenance of oil-immersed transformer

An oil-immersed transformer is a type of transformer whose coils are immersed in oil. Due to the need of fire prevention, oil-immersed transformer is usually installed in a separate transformer indoor or outdoor, which has the characteristics of large volume, low cost, simple maintenance, good heat dissipation, strong overload capacity and wide adaptability to the environment. Oil-type transformer is suitable for power system, industrial and mining enterprises, transportation, post and telecommunications departments, scientific research institutions, etc., to carry out insulation strength test under power frequency or dc high voltage for various high-voltage electrical equipment, electrical components, insulation materials.
Industrial and mining enterprises, power distribution stations and others will carry out regular maintenance and overhaul in the use of equipment. The inspection items of oil-immersed transformer are as follows:
1. Check whether there are hidden dangers around the transformer that threaten the safe operation of the transformer;
2. Check whether the gas relay is full of oil;
3. Check the casing on each side for any damage, discharge traces or other abnormal phenomena;
4. Check the operation of the cooling device;
5. Check whether the sound of transformer operation is normal;
6. Check whether the connecting wire head and each side casing pile have heating and discoloration;
7. Check whether the chromogenic selenium glue of the respirator has any change in its chromogenic degree;
8. Check whether the oil level and oil color in the oil pillow and oil-filled casing are normal and there is no oil leakage;
9. Check whether there is any leakage or oil leakage in the accessories and body;
10. Check the upper oil temperature gauge for any abnormal conditions;
11, check the diaphragm of the explosion proof tube has no liquid, the appearance is complete.
